General Manager's Update

Updated: November 20, 2008

Dear guests,

What can I tell you.....We did it. The renovation process came to an end today, November 20th. I can't tell you how pleased all of us at the Resort are to be able to share with you all of the enhancements and brand new areas that this 1,5 year renovation has brought us.

With two brand new restaurants, including the recently openend beach front restaurant La Vista we now truly offer the best seats on the island for a magnificent dining experience. Meanwhile, our Lobby received the final touches to the main entrance, the Casino vestibule and the new jewelry store Gandelman opened on November 18th. The tiling project in the south wing of our hotel Lobby was completed today and new atrworks were installed - colorful sails hanging from the ceiling of the Atrium.

Another transformation will take place soon on the Tradewinds Club Beach. In our beach hut with the straw roof on the far right side of the beach, that formerly hosted Vela Windsurf Center, we will soon be creating a Beach Bar as well as a Mandara Spa treatment room.

The beach hut recently received the first phase of a major overhaul and is now devided into two different areas. On the hotel side facing the beach we now offer a secluded beach area for our Tradewinds Club guests, including a complimentary float and oversized towels. The other side of the hut remains the Vela Windsurf Center and accommodates all watersports lovers with the proper kite- and windsurfing equipment. During the second phase, that has already commenced, a beach bar will be created soon. Mandara Spa treatments are already offered in a separated area of the beach hut.

We warmly welcome you to our playground for all generations, while our brand new Tradewinds Club continues to welcome our special guests to Aruba's ultimate indulgence.

Sunny regards,

Richard S. Zeolla
